what if today's the last day of your life?

say what?

aah yes..and yet again another "what if" post..

the tragedy that happened in aceh and again yesterday in nias really got me thinking...what if today's the last day of my life? what would i do?

tell all my friends that i love them all? eat my heart's out? dig on that haagen daaz i've been craving for some time now? tell that particular girl that i like her? go for a bungee jump? go to church and get baptized?*my mum will be overjoyed..haha*

it's weird isn't it? why do we have to wait until we know that it's finally the finish line for us. can't we just do all those things although we know we still have a few more laps to go then we can make our "marathon" *mind you the analogy* more interesting, if not memorable?

"that's the most humane thing to do"? what a lame excuse...that line deserves a loud sarcastic snigger...

what's with the world today? if you do something "nice" to someone, that person might be thinking "what' s up with him?" or some might even think of the ulterior motives behind it? however if you happen to stab your friend/colleague in the back then people will shrug it off easily as "it's nothing personal, it's business" odd? not really...

the correct 10 out of 10 answer to the question "what if today's the last day of your life?" in my opinion would be "so what?" that would mean we have fulfilled our life and live "carpe diem"

but then again, human will be human right*lame..haha*, so excuse the oh-i'm-so-introvert-self and while my id is pondering whether i should tell that girl i really fancy that i like her alot today, let me self indulge in the imaginary tubs of haagen daaz i will eat if today's the last day of my life..

i shall end it with a quote my friend wrote not too long ago:
"Anything good in life is illegal, immoral or fattening."
"Anything that does not fit into one of the above
categories causes cancer in laboratory animals." (source unknown)

aah the wisdom...*grin*
